We have two orders from queso, because, you know, queso a... read more My family and I went to Rusty Taco in Murphy today and I was so impressed!!! Everything was delicious! We have two orders from queso, because, you know, queso and didn't want to fight my two guys about it! It was a little spicy for my 4 years old, but I thought it was great. Not my absolute favorite, but a really solid score. The Tacos were amazing! I got the fried chicken taco with queso and the Brisket taco both were very tasteful and delicious. The child's cattle quesadillas were great! Prices for rustic taco are also very reasonable — only $30 for a family of 4 (plus drinks and also 2 Quesos)! The atmosphere was great and they even had a nice terrace! We will definitely come back!

However, we all agreed that the tacos could use either a larger size or more filling, especially since they were all priced at $2. As for the chips, they were hit or miss; some needed a bit longer in the fryer to be crispy. Luckily, we could get free refills. The service was friendly, and the staff handled the flood situation quite well. Since this place is relatively new, I'm willing to give it another try, but I think they need to reevaluate the taco portion sizes and make some improvements.

My only c... read more The food was fresh and delicious! The kids ordered breakfast tacos, and the portions were very generous. We all loved the queso, salsa, and guacamole. My only complaint was that my shrimp tacos had too much cabbage and not enough shrimp. I'm sure they'll work out the kinks, and I’ll definitely be back—I really enjoyed the watermelon iced tea!
