They used to be good a few years ago but they are just money hungry. I paid for extra beef and got triple rice. The Mongolian beef also smells like fish I stopped ordering it to years ago for that reason tried it again last night and it was still fishy. The fried rice had zero flavor. Taste like white rice. Paid $50 for our meals and would?ve much rather gone to a dining restaurant.
Don't know what's happened to this place but it's gone way down hill. The worst Chinese food I've had in years. The general chicken was not edible. Like a rock. The rice was crunchy...... horrible. And the place now looks like a dump.
I visited this restaurant because I'm from Memphis, where we have a pretty good place called China Spring. I placed my order and picked it up without any issues. However, when I got home, I discovered that the chicken in my chicken fried rice didn't look, taste, or feel like chicken at all. It was slimy, pale, and had an odd flavor. I called the restaurant to see if there had been a mistake, and they asked me to come back in. When I arrived, a woman, who mistakenly thought it was pork, took my fried rice into the back to investigate.
Staff was friendly and gave our kids fortune cookies while we waited for the food, which was kind! Not saying you couldn’t ever get tasty food at this restaurant, but we wouldn’t come here again, so 2 stars. The menus are outdated so the priceswere different than displayed. They did tell us this while we were looking over the menu. It would just have been nice to havethe current pricing listed somewhere. lunch deal is fairly cheap (6.80), which is a plus, but not a lot of good vegetarianoptions. No tofu options at all, and no tofu substitutions. (Which won’t matter to some, but for other plant eaters.)Vegetable lo mein also had very few veggies in it. restaurant was quite dusty and dirty on hanging decorations and by airvents. I don’t consider myself a germaphobe in any way, but it had me questioning how clean the kitchen could possibly be ifwhat the guests can see is this dirty. Food was blander than we hoped, and the fried rice has nothing at all in it. Some ofthe veggies had black specs that couldn’t just be rubbed off like if they were pepper flecks. This sealed the deal for me onnot coming back.
I came here because I’m from Memphis, and we have a China Spring there that’s pretty good. I ordered, picked it up, everything was fine. The issue was when I got home; the chicken I ordered on my chicken fried rice did not look, taste, or feellike chicken. It was slimy, pale, and tasted funny. I called this place to ask if they had screwed something up, and they askedme to come in. When I got there, a lady (who thought it was pork) took my fried rice to the back and asked her boss if it waschicken, which it apparently was, and the lady returned. She said it was chicken then walked off. No offer to remake it, or fora refund. I don’t know if anything else is good on this menu, but I don’t plan on finding out.
