Staff was friendly and gave our kids fortune cookies while we waited for the food, which was kind! Not saying you couldn’t ever get tasty food at this restaurant, but we wouldn’t come here again, so 2 stars. The menus are outdated so the priceswere different than displayed. They did tell us this while we were looking over the menu. It would just have been nice to havethe current pricing listed somewhere. lunch deal is fairly cheap (6.80), which is a plus, but not a lot of good vegetarianoptions. No tofu options at all, and no tofu substitutions. (Which won’t matter to some, but for other plant eaters.)Vegetable lo mein also had very few veggies in it. restaurant was quite dusty and dirty on hanging decorations and by airvents. I don’t consider myself a germaphobe in any way, but it had me questioning how clean the kitchen could possibly be ifwhat the guests can see is this dirty. Food was blander than we hoped, and the fried rice has nothing at all in it. Some ofthe veggies had black specs that couldn’t just be rubbed off like if they were pepper flecks. This sealed the deal for me onnot coming back.
I came here because I’m from Memphis, and we have a China Spring there that’s pretty good. I ordered, picked it up, everything was fine. The issue was when I got home; the chicken I ordered on my chicken fried rice did not look, taste, or feellike chicken. It was slimy, pale, and tasted funny. I called this place to ask if they had screwed something up, and they askedme to come in. When I got there, a lady (who thought it was pork) took my fried rice to the back and asked her boss if it waschicken, which it apparently was, and the lady returned. She said it was chicken then walked off. No offer to remake it, or fora refund. I don’t know if anything else is good on this menu, but I don’t plan on finding out.
I keep giving them chance after chance and this will be my last order from them. The rice taste like it is fried with fish. Horrible. There prices are getting higher and higher. If the food was good I would pay it ,but it is definitely not. I will belooking for a new place now.
Don’t eat here! This business is greedy; the staff are rude, uniformed and lie. The food is terrible, even under par for low end Asian cuisine. If you want to know how I came to this conclusion then please read on. I ordered then paid with card and 5mins later a guy that claimed to be “the manager” said my order was charged wrong and needed to give them more money. Hesaid that when I was charged an extra $1 to substitute white rice for soup they made a mistake and “I owed them another $3”.I said the deal was done and the charge had already happen on my card app. I was told very rudely they wouldn’t give me refundor food unless I paid more. I ask “the manager” to speak to his boss and he said let me get the “the manager” after heintroduced himself as the manager (full on LIE! . The manager was more sympathetic to my situation and said she would talk toher boss. She came back and said “he really didn’t want to do it, but will, just this time”. Their chicken was rubbery anddry, the egg roles tasted fishy and soup was like eating vegetable oil. I threw it all away and wasted $27. My girlfriendactually threw up! Food is sooo GROSS!!!
They used to be good a few years ago but they are just money hungry. I paid for extra beef and got triple rice. The Mongolian beef also smells like fish I stopped ordering it to years ago for that reason tried it again last night and it was still fishy. The fried rice had zero flavor. Taste like white rice. Paid $50 for our meals and would?ve much rather gone to a dining restaurant.
