The service was excellent,... read more My daughter and I had a girl's night out and chose this restaurant for dinner. We ordered quite a bit, and everything was fantastic! The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend it. The prices are reasonable, and we were treated very well! I truly appreciate good service when we experience it, as it's often hard to find these days.

The team was very helpful and friendly, and they even accommodated my request for extra sauce, so that's a plus. On the downside, my food was served on a paper... read more The team was very helpful and friendly, and they even accommodated my request for extra sauce, so that's a plus. On the downside, my food was served on a paper plate. I get that if they were overwhelmed with customers, they might run out of clean dishes, but this is Captain D’s in the same town as a Whataburger, so I doubt they're so busy that they can’t keep proper dishware on hand. I'm not upset, just a bit puzzled, considering this place is meant to be a step up from Long John Silver's!

What happened to the crunchy batter with the white fluffy fish likeit was before back in the day...it just appear that they are not allowing the fish to get done.. and please do something aboutthat grease......update..I went by this same location today 7 28 22 and it appears that capt on cason has stepped up their game.The batter was crunchy and the insides were done...I will now give you guys a 4 star up from the 1 star..continue doing whatyou are currently doing in the kitchen as of 7 28 22

Horrible! I placed my order on the Captain D's website as a pickup order for 7:30. I got to the drive thru at 7:25 and the person said they were making it then... read more Horrible! I placed my order on the Captain D's website as a pickup order for 7:30. I got to the drive thru at 7:25 and the person said they were making it then and to pull in space 1. I waited, checked some emails and realized 20 minutes had passed. Iwent inside and said I had been waiting and wondered if it was ready. They looked at me confused. There was a bagged ordersitting there and I asked if that was it. She said that was an employee's order. That employee came by and said that wasn'ttheir order. It WAS mine...that had been sitting there 20 minutes. I checked and of course everything was cold. She asked for itto be remade. Two people checked it before it was given to me. It was wrong. I thought it was right until I got home andrealized I was missing a piece of fish and utensils. The hush puppies and shrimp weren't fully cooked, one of the pieces ofchicken was hard with the breading falling off. My mother got sick after eating. Captain D's just isn't what it used to be andDEFINITELY not at this location. We had to throw away most of the food because it was inedible.
