We have arrived really late, but we wanted to have a breakfast. The owner took care of us and the kitchen made an excellent egg-breakfats, the ham-and-eggs mad of the famous Austrian hill-ham (schwarzwälder schinken) got great taste. The coffee and the hot chocolate was...perfect, decorated with milk foam. View all feedback.
What Lara Barela doesn't like about Gasthof Lercher:
We arrived to Murau late and were looking for some place to get dinner. The attitude of the man in charge was just terrible. There are different ways how to tell you that kitchen is closed already (we arrived 10 minutes past nine), but this...particular one was such that we will never come to this place, no matter what. Fantastic game carpaccio and overall very good kitchen. Staff very service minded and with good knowledge of wine. We will definitely come back!
Go for the a la carte menu, I am reliably informed that it is very good. The meal we had did not have much flavour,
We got there at about 9pm, the kitchen was already cleaned they said, but we still got very friendly service and two meals of nice, homemade veg food (vegetable croquettes and ravioli) with a very good price. Very cozy atmosphere in this place.
