I tried the lentil soup for 20TL, pasta for 10TL, and beans. I really appreciate the early opening hours of this place, as it is difficult to find somewhere to eat in the early morning. The pasta was delicious to me, but my husband did not enjoy it. The soup made me hesitant at first because it had a meaty taste, but the staff reassured me that it was completely vegan. Diner with several vegan options. They're not indicated, but on the menu you can figure out what's (probably) vegan and ask the staff to clarify if you have any doubts. Some options are the mercimek (lentil soup, ask not to add the butter), türlü (mixed vegetables and potato), pilav (rice with chickpeas), nohut (white beans in sauce). Bread is complementary and served in a big bucket. So much bread! The portions are big and the prices are small.
After the waiter informed me that the dish I ordered was not meat, but only leftover chicken, I was disappointed. Unfortunately, I ended up with just cauliflower soup.
The restaurant offers a buffet style dining experience. The waitress kindly accompanied me to show me the vegan options available. I enjoyed dishes like beans, musakka, and rice.
The flavors and the dishes are authentic. If looking for a local experience it is a must try.
