A charming family-owned shop turning out transcendent, freshly made donuts—cake, yeast and outstanding filled varieties—served in generous portions and priced reasonably. Light, airy textures (notably the angel-filled options) and reliably high quality make it a local favorite and a Chicagoland standout. Friendly, helpful staff and large coffee cups complement the casual, no‑frills atmosphere, though servers can sometimes hover while customers browse. Parking can be tight but there’s extra space around back. Ideal for breakfast runs, takeout, and anyone craving classic, expertly made donuts.
Stopped in at like 5:45am Friday and was welcomed to the most cheerful bunch of bakers ever! The Sour Cream and Chocolate Bavarians didn't let me down....the best!
Everywhere I go I look for the best coffee, overall food and donuts. These donuts are top notch, maybe the best I’ve ever had. A dozen donuts and two large coffee for around $20. Imagine you’re getting gas only to be over come with a sweet dough smell in the air, completely covering any gasoline. You look ahead and see Munster Donuts. While your dad is finishing filling up your gas tank, you dash over, grab a few donuts, do a quick TikTok review and WOW. 10/10!!! Must have donuts, favorite was the honey dipped. The cinnamon rolls are incredibly fresh and delicious—they're definitely my top choice! I went back to try the apple fritters, and I was pleasantly surprised to find actual apple filling inside. I've never tasted a fritter like this before, and they've now taken the top spot over the cinnamon rolls as my new favorite! I'm a bit puzzled as to why they're closed on Mondays, though.
