Yungo Cafe & Bistro

Visited for lunch and had a quinoa salad and the Llama dish which was llama meat, green beans and roasted potatoes. It took nearly min to get the food from when we ordered and there was only one other table in the restaurant at...the same time (and the had finished their meals). Therefore, we were let to believe that for once here in Argentina, we would have some good properly slow made food. Boy, were we wrong. The food came and in all honesty, seems like it was heated in the microwave plus the meat was so extremely overdone that I could hardly cut it with the knife. Avoid for all reasons!

A clean and civiliezed place inside of a luxury shopping mall with a patio. Service is attentive and polite, the menu has some tasty local dishes to offer. No english-speaking stuff though

Everything was good, it was almost empty because it was a Sunday noon. We sat down at a quiet table and food came quick.

We went there for a lunch with a business partner. The food was great- I had a rissotto with beetroot, which was perfectly seasoned and very tasty. My partner had Lama for the first time of his life and he was very pleased. I would...say it is one of the best restaurants in Jujuy offering not only standard dishes. The atmosphere in the calm backyard of the historic building is a good contrast to the noisy streetlife outside and very relaxed. Very nice attendance.

Our first visit to Yungo was accidental. We were just walking around and discovered this quite inviting place inside a complex on Belgrano street.It doesn't have a board on the main street but you can take a turn in from IndiaStyle and there you go....Our first visit was awesome. We were and got a nice long table set up for us. They had a huge group of Abuela's celebrating two birthdays (one years old and one years old) We crashed their party and they were so cool about it. They loved it as much as we did. coming back to the good. The food is awesome and the portions are good. Since then we have been repeat customers and visited this place times already in a week. We have tried multiple things like Melenessa, Spagetti, Chicken in citrus juice, risotto with beetroot, sandwiches, and deserts like cheese cake, tiramisu, and drinks like fresh juice Cafe con leche (thats coffee with milk), Frappucino, Hot Chocolate. Everything is freshly made. I like the ambience and the interior of this place. Its a nice cozy place to chit chat with friends over good food.
