This place is very good for coffee and cakes.... The location is central and a wide selection of cakes is available... Service is fast and efficient... Not particularly friendly but and this must be improved.... I can give it 7 out of 10. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Madre Tierra:
Nothing impressive but the typical 3 courses lunch was nice.A fresh salad followed by "canelones" (crepes) stuffed with some vegetables, then a soup (with barely any taste) followed by a desert that the waitress (however nice) barely knew what it was. It's a nice place to have lunch but again, not impressive. This is a small vegetarian plan right on the main Belgrano street in the capital city of the province. Fat Free and 100% natural it says. My first visit here wasn't that lucky. The place was too crowded for a bunch of 7 people. The next visit was better. We did get a place for 4. The place has a new menu every day. The menu changes with respect to the soup and main course each day. On day 1, we were received with warm multi grain bread before our main orders. We ordered only a soups and a Verdura el disco (more like a vegetable cake of spinach and pumpkin). The soup was rice soup with pumpkin, beans and lentils. It was a good wholesome meal, though it didn't really satisfy me. We ordered natural juices to go with it. The juices were awesome like straight and fresh from the fruits. This place lets you split the bill per person which is great is you are traveling with friends. We came back again the next day (as this is one of the few places in the city that serves soup). The place was moderately crowded, but we did get a table. We ordered a soup, a vegetarian burger and Melenessa Quinoa. The soup was a spinach soup. It tasted totally bland. The vegetarian burger looked wholesome and was quite satisfying. The melenessa was a let down. It tasted like saw dust :(, was totally dry and I had to add oil and drink lots of water to be able to gulp it down. We didnt even get bread on day 2. We did get it after we had almost finished our meal. I was thoroughly disappointed on day two. The fresh juices were the only saving grace. I don't think I am going back though. Much as I like healthy food, I love my meat and greasy food.

We ordered a soup, a vegetarian burger and Melenessa Quinoa. The soup was a spinach soup. It tasted totally dirty. The vegetarian burger looked very good and was quite satisfied. The Melenessa was a farewell. It tasted like sawdust: was completely dry and I had to add oil and drink plenty of water to spill it. We didn't even get bread on the second day. We did it after we almost finished our meal. I was very disappointed on the second day. The fresh juices were the only saving grace. I don't think I'm going back. Nothing impressive, but the typical 3 courses lunch was nice. It is a beautiful place for lunch, but again, not impressive.
