Three of us called this hotel home for a week. The property has very comfortable and spacious rooms consisting of a large and comfortable bed, desk, small kitchen with oven and stove, dishes and humble cutlery, refrigerator. Rooms on the east side of the property do not get the beautiful breeze that does not seem to stop. The rooms overlooking the eastern side of the road (property is on a corner) which is quite active, especially in the evening hours. Recommended selection of a west footprint for fresh air and lower noise levels. The staff is phenomenal! Sobrina and Florencia are brilliant, always ready to help with everything and everything! The atmosphere at the hotel is one of the families, and these two women will make you feel at home! Food... Well, it takes a little longer to prepare because it is prepared FRESH and is incredibly tasteful! We sat at the table and discussed how someone could write something negative about the kitchen. Every bite was... WOW! Empanadas were so good we decided to take some with us to consume during our 11 hours flight home. We will soon return to Esquel and if we do that, this is the place where we stay!
The prices are high and you don't get what you expect when you pay so much. But since we didn't have many possibilities to go in this city, we went there and my girlfriend thought they were an apeter instead of a main course, as the menu and the price said. (only 6 pieces of pasta.. The beef was fine, but the price for this was definitely tempted.. Never again in this city or restaurant.
We were at the hotel and tried their restaurant, which is excellent. It has a home decor, staff very friendly and everything we have tried was delicious we had the trout (speciality of the area) and highly recommended.
We had dinner here twice because we were very impressed by the quality of the food. The soup, empanada and prawn starters were excellent. Of the main courses the most notable was the trout which was beautifully cooked when most of the fish during our trip to Argentina tended towards being over cooked. We also had a lamb casserole which was very different from casseroles at home but made from lovely tender meat. The steak was also really good. The Moussaka was a different interpretation of the dish from usual, but still pleasant.
