They are very nice people there, but the food, I am afraid, is not up to expectations. We wanted to try fish, as local delicacy, but either it was not cooked well, or the fish was not fresh (the reason to suspect this is that one fish tasted better than the other in the same dish). Not sure if there are better alternatives around, but I would go elsewhere.

You must try this restaurant. The environmet is just perfect, everything is old but very well conservated. The food,is delicious, as a perfect dessert try the flan de naranjas!

We spend a good evening with a good fish del rio and a fine bottle of Torrentes de Cafayete. Kindness

This is Colon. On both occasions we choose fish dishes (for our main course), Dorada served with vegetables and peppers served with sweet potatoes. As you can see from the photos, the fish was filled and a generous portion size. The Dorada had a sweet taste as if it had been glazed in honey and the pepper was seasoned with garlic and olive oil. Both main courses were pleasant. One evening we also shared a Rabas (Calamari) Starter (maybe enough to share between 2 as aperitif) and on the other night we decided to flan de naranjas (which is highly recommended as mentioned in other reviews). Finally, there is an excellent selection of very inexpensive wine (especially worth tasting the Torronte wine from Colon). Nice staff and good value for money. It is worth making a reservation in advance if you want to get away from the traffic / industrial road.
