Our usual server is always very welcoming and pleased to see us, as is the manager/owner. There is a varied menu and the prices are reasonable. I have...dropped a star as, sadly we were served by unfamiliar staff on our last evening (Monday), who were offhand and plainly did not want to be there. They were also smoking near us just prior to serving food, which was not pleasant. An uncharacteristic drop in Mehfeld's usual high standards.
