When we poi... read more A grey-haired staff member mistook apple juice for an Aperol Spritz (which contains alcohol) and didn’t even ask for ID, even though we’re under 18. When we pointed out the mistake, she was quite rude and didn’t bother asking if we still wanted the apple juice. Very disappointing experience.

However, I’m lowering my rating slightly because the restaurant lacks accessibility options for elderly or mobility-impaired guests. My elderly companion had difficulty accessing the bathroom, which was two floors up with no elevator or ground-floor alternative. This made the visit unnecessarily challenging for them. If the restaurant could provide an accessible restroom on the ground floor or offer assistance for guests with mobility issues, it would make a huge difference without compromising the fantastic dining experience. We wanted to sit down and have a meal as well so we went to the second floor, sat down, and we were about to order when the waitress yelled at us that we ordered things to go and cannot sit up on the second floor. This was astonishing to us considering we were ready to order meals and sit down. Terrible experience, the waitress was so rude so we decided to just leave. We were about to support the business 2x, once on the first floor with the pastries we already purchased and again on the second floor to order drinks and food. Never coming back. But the bes... read more When you enter the Rischart-Niederlassung Marienplatz, enjoy the modern decor and the beautiful lighting where the baked goods are well appreciated. But the best is to smell them. From the big bakers in Munich, the Rischart is very far on my list. It was also the first baker who came into contact at the time in Munich (Filiale am Hauptbahnhof). Never before had I eaten bread crumbs and rarely you get them as good as here. But also the Brez'n are exactly my taste. With the butters, the butter is almost too thick to me, but even better than if it was too small, because something can be removed. Don't forget the cracks. In the carnival period, the selection from year to year is harder, as new and even better creations are added. And recently I discovered the Rübli Stangerl for me. The industry here is clean and the staff is usually friendly.

The tables are much too tight, conversations are so barely possible because guests at the neighboring table hear everything. The ladies of the service are very striving, but sometimes hardly come through, because there is always much going on here not to say.

You can also drink a coffee or eat a cake or something else in nice weather outside as well as in the first floor in the cafe. The cake is very good, the other dishes are rather average.
