Azteca - Mundelein

This is a great taqueria with delicious food, a clean atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. The Molcajete is a must-try! The Rock Steak was tender and fantastic. During my latest visit, I also sampled the Steak Fajitas and Al Pastor, both of which were excellent! I also tried the barbacoa taco, but it was just okay—not nearly as impressive as the other items on the menu.

I was surprised to find out that this restaurant serves chicken wings, but they are delicious and meaty.

Authentic Mexican cuisine—absolutely delicious! The staff is friendly and welcoming as well.

Great experience here. Had the chilaquiles and they were delicious! Good portions and prices. Service was excellent. Clean establishment safety protocols are being followed/enforced. Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning
