All they are missing is the wrapping newspaper. They are a little slow to call it fast food but that is because they concentrate on the quality of the batter or crumbing and on getting things just right. If you remember chip shops from the 1960s this it the place after a day at then beach or a day out with the family. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Forbes Fish & Chips:
the fish is ok here, but the chips never change they are always bland. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's the oil, the potatoes. but I would definitely enjoy going here more often if the chips have a little taste. View all feedback.

I have been a loyal customer of this establishment for a while now and usually enjoy dining here. However, I was extremely disappointed during my last visit. When I bit into my eel roll, I found a long black hair in it (my hair is blond so it couldn't have been mine). I couldn't continue eating after that. I also ordered kartoffel cake and requested it to be lightly salted, but there was no salt on it at all. To top it off, the fish was dry. I have decided not to dine here anymore.
We only paid $60 for dinner, but the food was inedible. It was absolutely disgusting and the entire family agrees! The service was also disappointing. meal type: dinner, price per person: $60–80.
This is the first time I have ever left a review here, but I was very disappointed with the $50 fish and chips I ordered. Additionally, they forgot to include our $8.50 salad. I simply expect the food I pay for to be enjoyable and of good quality, not soggy, tasteless, and disappointing. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.
Large fish and chips meal: dinner price per person: $1–20
