Had the garlic herb Cobb to start with an entree to share and then a main each of a 350g scotch fillet with different toppings. All served with a friendly smile. Fantastic place to sit, relax, have a nice meal with a wine from their extensive wine list. The meals weren't cheap but it was well worth it.

We had a great dinner with our friends. I had a great seafood crepe the other guys recommended the Beef cheeks. Highly recommend it. I had a chicken schnitzel but the best was the pepper gravy. Must say one of the best I've had and I do love pepper gravy/sauce. Nice open fire too.We would visit again next time we're in Mulwala.

Between us we had the Seafood Platter (crumbed prawns (clearly of the packet type) peko crumbed Calamari rings (four) Chips, side salad and two large pieces of crumbed Flathead. These were of course all deep fried. Could not finish the fish, just two big.Beef cheek was another plate, this was also tender but proved to be far two big with about 25% left on the plateManagement has changed in recent times (about 18/24 months ago) and new managers have aimed at improving the fare in the restaurant.Well worth a visit if looking for a comfortable place to have an informal dinner

Staff were rude inflexible. Tried to order a steak sandwich but hold the egg. Told by rude hostess that we don’t do alterations. Ok just put the egg on the side. Response was ‘we don’t do alterations.’ So cancelled all 3 orders left. With our drinks food they missed out on at least $150 just because they couldn’t serve a steak sandwich without egg. Went to Yarrawonga Hotel and had a great meal served by extremely customer friendly staff.

And yet the list of suburbs t... read more Absolutely despicable place. They denied us entry because we’re from Sydney and tried to say it was a State Government regulation. And yet the list of suburbs they showed us was printed out with Queensland Government as a header. The lady was clearly just doing her job but to try and pass it off as government policy when in reality it was the owner’s policy... really. It couldn’t be that they are actively trying to qualify for JobKeeper in Q1 2021 could it???? Anyway, I am allowed to go to the Sydney Cricket Ground for the test match tomorrow but can’t go tor the Royal Mail Hotel in Mulwala. We are now sitting in the Mulwala Services Club happily enjoying our drinks!

The staff was friendly and the food was defi... read more I went to this restaurant last night with my family and it was packed with people, which is always a positive sign. The staff was friendly and the food was definitely worth it. We ordered lamb curry, homemade penne, parna's chicken schnitzel, and a bruschetta to start. Everyone left satisfied and we would be happy to dine there again.

I especia... read more We were really satisfied with our experience at this restaurant tonight. The portions of food were generous and satisfying. The service was excellent. I especially enjoyed my surf and turf dish, while my partner loved the seafood pancake. Our friends also enjoyed their meals, and we all liked the side of onion rings we ordered. The portions were large and the quality of the food was very good. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the wine list was well-curated. Our server, Daniel, provided excellent service as well. We definitely plan on returning in the future.
