I love Hill Creek Farms, and the fact that there’s a little restaurant upstairs is really amazing because this is already a food store, a farm, and a play area for the kids. This farm is fun and all season(but winter), I could go in the fall and get pumpkins and apple cider donuts or in the spring or summer for the apples or to shop. You can’t go in winter but this place is still a 10/10 for me View all feedback.
What Sarah Favinger doesn't like about Hill Creek Farms:
We went for apple picking. Upon arrival we were told that we could not bring a backpack with us, even though we had an 18 month old and needed diapers, etc., because other people had stolen apples. Charging $5 additional for the playground is also a bit much. Disappointed and will go elsewhere. View all feedback.
My son and I come once a week! He is a little obsessed with tractors so he loves the hayride! The apples are so tasty, I feel like I can't go back to store bought apples. Bob from the farm is always kind and helpful. He makes our experience easy and better!
First time here and we loved it. Kids already want to go back and we definitely will. Want to go back without kids too and relax and do wine.
If you are looking for the perfect place to take Fall photos and U-Pick apples, you have found the right place with Hill Creek Farms. I am so happy I found this farm via a google search. It wasn't a far drive from where we live in South Jersey. Parking was both easy and convenient. It didn't cost money on the day we went on Friday. I am unsure if they charge on Saturday. I would recommend visiting on Friday due to Saturdays only being open for reservations. If you go early around noon to 3 pm on Fridays, there wasn't too many people or lines. There is a tractor wagon that rides you to the U-pick apple area and it was such a nice ride and allows you to view the beautiful property. It was so fun picking apples and being able to try the ones you picked. They taste so much better than a store bought apple! The pumpkin patch was filled with pumpkins and is the perfect spot for Fall photos. From the marketplace, they had so many options to choose from more apples , desserts, wine, and much more. The wines I was recommend to try was the bill creek apple wine and blessington. I couldn't help but buy some of their famous apple cider donuts and a apple caramel loaf cake. The donuts were so so good and I hate to say I ate the loaf cake in less than 2 days. It was the most moist cake I've ever had. I should have bought another one. For the bag of apples we picked and apples purchased from market place was only $12. What a deal!
Wonderful place for adults and kiddos. Two play areas for kids, every kind of in season picking at reasonable prices. Staff really care, shout out to Leslie who was super helpful in guiding us.
