Just off the main square we arrived well late for lunch around 2.00pm , in fact everyone else had long ago left , never the less we were welcomed and while the main course of the Menu du jour “ beef Strogonoff” sounded delicious it was long gone but our fault for being late. What ginikkie doesn't like about Auberge des Franciscains:
I wanted to try this place based on the reviews. However, I was sadly disappointed. I had the menu #3 which I chose the foie gras for my app, fish for my main and a dessert trio. I had high hopes for the foie gras because I love it. This was not good. It's tasted like it was on its last leg. The fish was bland and the asparagus was chopped up and overlooked. Very good reception, delicious menus, quick services. I recommend. a pity I swallowed everything without taking pictures.
Darts are torn apart: the dough is rather soft than cristic. The snails: I know more persecuted, bolder than those! the beef fillet is good but the morilla sauce is insipid (like 1 diluted liquid cream) and for the added price, it is not worth it! perfect but similar kitchen fish, cream sauce without flavor. The sauerkraut: good. great disappointment: fries are not made at home. I'm so sorry. the gourmet coffee: it has the merit of being offered but half is good, the other half passable. otherwise sounding. terrible. Too strong. the largest terrace.
Very nice and friendly. and also delicious. price was reasonable.
Very good place to eat local! The sauerkraut is well-stocked and very good! I recommend
Good Regional food, specialty of the house. Service is very friendly.
