What Hailey Kuphal likes about Sakuma Japanese Restaurant:
that's my second time when I try this and it's so good! eating is super authentic and there are many possibilities. I love the bentobox because they give you one. View all feedback. What Matteo Wyman doesn't like about Sakuma Japanese Restaurant:
Update 2019: Mr Sakuma sold the restaurant about 3 years ago ... he did stick around for a year or 2 to help out the new owners and then he retired about a year ago. Since then the quality of the food has gone down a little, all the while the price has gone up. I do like the new owners, but the value here has gone away ... the food is simply okay to good, but not at the prices they charge. Old review: Truly authentic... View all feedback.

read moreSakuma restaurant, once known for its authentic Japanese cuisine under previous ownership, has seen a slight decline in food quality and increase in prices since the new owners took over. Despite this, there are still positive reviews for the restaurant, with some highlighting the variety of options available, such as bento boxes and fresh sushi. Customers have enjoyed dishes like vegetable tempura, shirashi bowls, and rock n roll sushi rolls, praising the freshness and taste of the food. The service has been commended for being fast, friendly, and efficient. Some have noted the high prices, but overall find the food and service to be worth it. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with ample parking available. Overall, Sakuma continues to be a popular spot for those seeking authentic Japanese cuisine in Mukilteo.
