Cafe Tenda Rossa - MUGGIA

A small, friendly bar on the main piazza of Muggia, opposite the town hall. After extensive research we reckon that Tenda Rossa serves the best Spritz Aperol in the Trieste region, and one of the best caffe macchiatos. Worth a trip across the border (we live in Slovenia).

We had such a good laugh with the waitresses here. Great afternoon on the square in the sunshine having a nice beer with a free snack watching the world go by. It's service with a smile and lots of fun.

A nice place to sit and watch the world go by, in a peaceful square next to the church in Muggia. Five to ten minutes' walk from where the boat from Trieste drops you off. We ordered soft drinks and sat for a while. Nice spot.

Just pleasantly redecorated inside, has good seating outside.Service outside is very slow, busy or not.Restricted choice of patisseie and aperitif snacks.Personnel snappy and slow in service.Worst deal : you' ll have to get up and go into cafè cashier place and stand up in a queue to pay.Aggravating!

Very good coffee and chocolate croissant. Based on a main square a very nice place for morning coffee and quick breakfast.
