Very tasty food. The monkfish is spectacular and the octopus is delicious. We left delighted. Price adjusted to your service. Very good attention. We will repeat. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–40

We thoroughly enjoyed our stop at Pulperia La Isla. The food was good, the atmosphere was laid back and relaxed. It is the service that was outstanding. The very friendly and helpful staff made our visit even better. The guy who served us spoke English and was very friendly. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food: Chewy octopus; overcooked just like sautéing for too long in a pot. The tentacles left all the suction cups detached, giving the dish a disastrous aesthetic. Good point and seasoning of the grilled fish although, as a combination, they put it with a seasoned salad (it takes away the flavor) and lemon. Service: Paying more than €20 for an Albariño in Galicia is usury; the same as paying €2.20 for a Galician plastic water. I consider reusing the glass yogurt cups for dessert and charging you more than €4 to be excessive nonsense. Atmosphere: It was not worth the trip on purpose, nor the recommendation of an illustrious Mugardese, who will blush when I inform him of the bad experience. Cold, soulless and noisy dining room as soon as more people arrived. Not recommended! Excessive prices!

But since it was cooked the same way, it seems strange to me that some were so soft and others were not, when in addition, some soft pieces were equally or thicker than others if they were just right. Anyone who has cooked octopus at home knows that that is not so. But I am very grateful to know that they would have exchanged it for me, for a proper portion. In any case, I am pleased that you have deigned to answer politely and correctly, which is why we will not stop visiting your place. Thank you very much for your attention, your response and for knowing how to fit the reviews, that says a lot about the professionalism of a business. ____________________________ Well, in the same portion of octopus at the fair, there were pieces that were too soft and others, on the other hand, were just right. Therefore, one of two: either they mixed octopus from previous cooking with the octopus of the day, to take advantage of it, thinking that we were not going to notice. Or it is clear that something happened there, such as excessive cooking. Although It's quite strange, because some pieces were at their point and others were not, (they fell apart because they were so soft!! . The octopus has to be at its point, neither more nor less, that is to say, not hard, nor soften too much.

I loved the mugardesa octopus and I'm not a big fan of octopus, but that one was incredible. The raxo with cheese was also spectacular Furthermore, the location right in front of the port of Mugardos is excellent. Very good and efficient attention!
