Zapata - München

Nothing special and had the impression that fast eating style at a restaurant price probably more a TexMex type. we were under the impression that eating was precooked and simply heated. the jamon serrano is definitiw not a serrano, but a...normal jamon covered with spices.

Great atmosphere inside. the staff is friendly and helpful. menu also in English. good choice of vegetarian kitchen. very large portions. a little expensive.

That was the worst experience in a restaurant I remember. we had to wait an hour for our drinks and eat one and a half hours for ours. unbelievable! and no apologe word from one of the employees. we had booked. a table around eight, but not served before 9:30 a.m. and we had to go into the bar to ask for our drinks. we left the place in a really bad mood.

Came here for dinner after we found it within a leaflet advertised and was local to hotel. Had nachos to share which were delicious and a burrito for a main which was nice and very filling. Cocktail list was extensive and were great. Server was...quick but did not give us our change back and presumed it would be a tip. As well as this we saw many people receiving shots after their meal we presumed they were complimentary but we didn't receive anything which seemed peculiar.

Best dinner we have had so far on our trip wish we had a Zapata in Canada, be warned the portions are huge, we really didn’t need the appetizer but everything was so fresh and delicious I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant and our server...spoke a little English and great!
