Even though I knew that one must always discount the ratings o... read more I was in Munich on holiday and decided to have dinner at this restaurant based on its 4.7 rating. Even though I knew that one must always discount the ratings on Google by 0.5 or so, boy was I wrong about this restaurant. Either I went on an off day or the previous reviewers were too kind. Our party of four ordered two pastas, a steak, a pizza and a salad to share. The two pasta dishes were UNDERCOOKED. They were not al dente, they were UNDERCOOKED. You had to put some effort into chewing them, like Haribo gummy bears. We told the waiter and requested for them to be cooked again, but when they came back nothing had changed. The steak was OVERCOOKED even though we had asked for it to be cooked Medium. And it was bland. Mercifully, the waiter forgot about our pizza and took it off our bill. Hence, we avoided having to pay for another disappointment. We ate a second dinner at another restaurant afterwards so that we would not go to bed hungry. There was one waiter that evening serving about 4-5 tables on the pavement and 2-3 tables inside. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and brought to a nice table by the window. However, subsequently he was indifferent to our complaints about the food and did not seem interested in making things better for us. I hope that other patrons will have better luck than us.
