Schneider & Sohn - München

The Schneider Bräuhaus is a traditional Bavarian brewhouse with local beer and local Bawarian dishes. You can sit on large tables next to other guests and order your drinks and food. They get light and directly in contact with other guests - not to shy....The food is traditional with lots of pork, but they also offer fish and vegan meals. I like to stay there and always enjoy it. This time I came into contact with a Brazilian group and other German people. This brewhouse is not as crowded with tourists like the Hofbräuhaus and you will find more locals.

This was my second time here, and not much has changed since my last visit. Recommend going at a later lunch hour so you don't have as much waiting time. Excellent beer and decent food, not outstanding though. Still, the atmosphere was very German, so...it's a nice restaurant to visit especially if you're a tourist.

We waited over half an hour just to be acknowledged by a waitress. She took our order and never checked in with us again. Waited another 30 minutes after finishing to even be acknowledged again. Food was decent(3 stars). Beer was good(4 stars). Service was...bad (0 stars).

We were pleasantly surprised with the fast and efficient service, considering the dates of our visit (Christmas Market time). The food was excellent and our waitress couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommended.
