What a lovely place! The ambiance is lovely, the personell is amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent, although, if I might change one detail it would be that it is very salty, the only discomfort is probably the water retention the next day ;) but it is delicious in taste and colorful. For dining there on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday please make a reservation with time as the place gets packed!... View all feedback.
We were Last year already on a Congress in munich and discovered this precious restaurant and were totally satisfied with it's refined and sophisticated way of preparing and cooking afghan tradishional dishes which you hardly can find in this huge amount of other Asian or Asian fusion restaurants. To our big surprise there are two restaurants right next to each other - so they must have expanded which fulfilled us with satisfaction, as the first restaurant was too small and the amount of customers interesting in dining great afghan food was always to long.We did have our dal and rice again which was delicious and tried some other rice and potato dishes- for a vegetarian a dream come trueThe Afghan style spinach is sensationalI wish you guys a lot of success and maintain the great cooking!!!!
Friendly waiters, great speed, great dishes, great taste - little space. You rather make a reservation.

Great restaurant for sitting with friends, if you want to go on a date and have a bit more privacy please request this with your reservation.
Afghan owned, Afghan managed, Afghan food restaurant. Was a bit sceptical when taken there. But the very small place serves a real Afghan treat. Great whiskies & beer too. A great place to enjoy food.
First the good; I would give this place 10 stars in terms of food if I could, because everything is uniquely flavored, well-portioned, and the variety of dishes is excellent. This place is smaller than next door and doesn't have grilled items, but I think it's perfect for lunch. It's quite small so I would keep the group at 2-4 people, and they have excellent lunch specials. The interior is beautifully decorated and every dish is bursting with flavor. I usually get a lamb in spinach sauce which is excellent and it has never let me down. It's a great location after the Gasteig or Muffathalle concerts. The food here takes time tho, so do not go if you only have an hour or less. Now to the service. Unfortunately, with both of the Chopans, the service is VERY VERY inconsistent. This guy is absolutely unhelpful, indifferent, and unfriendly. I wouldn't say he's rude perse, but he doesn't care if you are there or not and is happy to show you how little he cares. Some days he is better than others. In both locations I have issues with the service because I LOVE, LOVE the food, but sometimes just feel they don't treat people very well. I would definitely recommend it just for the food in a lovely location, but don't expect anything else..
