I've been to this restaurant several times. the ambiente is very good, in summer there is a beautiful terrace. the waiter is a little stubborn and could be more friendly. eating is always very tasteful. I'll be back. View all feedback.
What هوردخت بهبهانی doesn't like about La Scala:
a strange place this one! I'm not sure if I would recommend it so far, but if they wonder, are hungry and want to have a pizza, they'll get a good food. the food was prepared with fresh ingredients (tomatoes on the pizza were great) and the service was friendly. the musical thema of the restaurant is a bit strange and I don't think it's operated by Italians, but don't let them be deterred. there are better restaurant... NOT open Mondays despite what its site says. I can't review the food, unfortunately, since they were closed
Very well located out of city restaurant. Outside seating was perfect As it was an amazing evening.Had tagliatelle Salmon it wasn't the best, but won't complain as they were extremely hospitable. They don't take credit cards!!! Not good unless you are local.
A strange place this one! I'm not sure I'd go as far as recommending it but if you're wondering past, hungry and fancy a pizza then you will get a good feed. The food was cooked with fresh ingredients (tomato on the pizza was great)...and the service was friendly. The musical theme to the restaurant is a bit strange and I do not think it is run by Italians but do not let that necessarily put you off. There are better places to eat in Munich.
I went several times to eat here, because is conveniently located from where we always stay in Munich, and, even if the food use to be decent, the service is a joke. The food is not that bad, well, a few dishes, the rest are...all full of oil, some of the foods are old and they don't have any consideration with the customers, is this typical people that just want you to spend as much as posible, thats it. They tried to sell us a panacota, that minimum was or days old, hard as hell and horrible taste. extremely oily and battery food. If you wish to have a stomach ache, this is your place. If you want to eat good and real Italian food in Munich, is plenty of restaurants, this is not one of them.
My wife and I found this place by chance (our hotel was nearby, it was raining and on Sundays many places are closed). Very lucky find. We had a two-course meal only (pasta dish plus dessert, then coffee, with two local beers): very well cooked...dishes, simple and tasty. The service was attentive and fast without pressure. The cook must be really Italian no unnecessary complications, no funny sauces and such like. The building isn't that attractive from outside (as others have observed), but the dining room is arranged a bit like an opera theatre and the atmosphere is quiet and friendly. Most of the other customers seem to be returning locals, always a good sign. euros altogether, including tax.
