We went to this restaurant many times and we were very satisfied with both the quality of food and the professional services until we met this lady on 21st February 2017!It was not a busy night but we could not find the waitress at service, when she came, she brought a long face and there was absolutely no service at all.When we asked for the bill, she present it and pick up our money and keep all the changes by hers... As in tokio is fish so fresh and sushi well made. the odour inside is too hard to stay a few hours.
If you want to have a truly authentic Japanese experience, this is the place for them! the quality of food is excellent fish and the products are super fresh), the menu choice concentrates on the “authentic and fundamental” without having some alternative rolls that they will. will never see in japan. excellent selection of dressing not only sushi), beautiful interieur that they feel like they are in japan and service is also good. family business restaurant, filled with Japanese customers. really good! only a pity is that there is no space to sit outside
Kiato is the place to go in munich for a real Japanese kitchen, but sucks over the service, all the time when I come the server are very rude I don't know if is because I'm not German or what? come on! are they. do they know that they are right in the hospitality industry? in thinking never to come back just because I love the food, but server rude
When they regularly go to japan, it is easy to disappoint when they go to a Japanese restaurant in europa. kaito is really an exception in this sight. from start to tempura and sushi they enjoy a good quality as in japan. Small...tasting menu was 58 euro and good value for money. they even serve Asahi's draft, which is also at a place of bier crazy as a little bit. could improve on the service. we needed one because to get the bill, as all had a drink at the back restaurant. good to see that japaner can relax in Germany.
Kaito is THE Place to go to in Munich for high quality and original traditional Japanese dishes. Usually Kaito is highly frequented by Japanese guests and all staff are Japanese themselves. The fish (and other dishes as well) is amazing and absolutely perfect. But there...is a BUT: of course high quality comes at a price but recently the prices have been even further increased and are now at a level that is hard to justify. We have been coming to Kaito for special occasions for close to 20 years. I fear we will come less often in the future because it just got too expensive.
