Nice furnishings, nice staff. Large portions that taste moderately, but all were only lukewarm. And cold plates, that wasn't the racer. Price in the middle field. View all feedback.
We've been with BonSai for years. The food has always been delicious. There are also specialties that do not exist anywhere. I have a clear recommendation. D. A.
Cosy local, traditional Chinese cuisine really delicious
Always enjoy being there. friendly family Ahtmosfähre
Who will eat Chinese today? We rarely do that. It's probably because in my house almost only Chinese were when I was young. And when my parents went to dinner, then to the Greeks/Yugoslaves or even Chinese. Later, when I moved to larger cities and could decide where I could go to dinner, my choice with an Asian local was almost always on Vietnam/Thai or Japan. But sometimes one gets humble and thinks of his distant family and with this mood I like to go to the Chinese. The Bonsai is just perfect for it, because not only the food brings you to the past. The restaurant has been there since 1986. I've known him since 2003. Quality, prices and size of the portions have hardly changed since, even the taste is consistently good. The facility is also 2003. probably but much older. But everything in a very good condition and clean. Typical chinese kitsch, but it just fits here. Dark furniture, much red as you know from the past. Red lights in the windows, painted mirrors on the ceilings and a large fish fountain at the time of catching. The service is very nice and attentive and speaks very good German. Cooking is fresh and you can also taste it. Very recommend something from the fire pot, but also the shrimp, duck and the crispy chicken are great. Crispy dishes are served only on vegetables and the sauce is extracted separately in a bowl. The red curry is not so sharp here, but tasty and likes it with red chili paste. The peanut sauce is not entirely my taste. The crispy Wantan is good, but my highlight is the great spring roll! Great crispy, but still juicy dough and a spicy filling. They get them very rare and here it is particularly delicious. Beverage prices (soft drinks) with 2.90€ for 0.4l significantly below the Munich average, but also for other drinks. I would also like to recommend the lunch offer! And so rare to find: here it is from Monday Saturday (except on holidays). Even though I may be clumsy, I feel good after that. Finally, it is also nice to think about the family and many positive memories come back.
Very nice Chinese in classic ambience. The food was very tasty, and there is one page in the menu offered in the original Chinese specialties. Our Chinese exchange student was highly delightful about the offer. The service is very friendly and good mood. We'll go more often!
