When visiting Munich we asked the reception staff at our hotel for a decent Chinese restaurant as their were quite a few near us. The porter had no hesitation in recommending the China Express which was 2 blocks away from our apartment. So glad we...took his advice as our meal was delicious and very cheap 10 e in total for 2 meals. Staff are happy for you to eat your meal at the restaurant for no extra charge and are... What Jessica Fuhrmann doesn't like about China Express:
€10.90 for all you can eat buffet dinner including choice of soda. Reasonable spread of fried chicken, fish, crispy duck, prawns and spring rolls. Fried rice and noodles. Hot and sour soup. No air conditioning. 15min walk south on Ungererstr from Pullman hotel. View all feedback.
I had a short break in Munich but was unfortunately not feeling well so it was great to have this restaurant near our hotel as I couldn 't travel far, my friend and myself ordered from the 'a la carte ' menu and they were good value...and good portion sizes. My favourite dish here was their Banh Cuon.
I stopped by with a friend to have a quick dinner, hoping that food quality could be over the average of nearby similar places. We were absolutely wrong. The cheap food isn 't fresh at all. It 's overcooked and overheated in those display counters. Plus, it...is really low quality. My pechinese soup seemed glue. My friend 's noodles were glue as well. But the most repulsive thing was the encounter with a mouse that freely ran under the tables. of a third world event, but I remind you this restaurant is close to Munich central station. This kind of thing must not happen.
If you need to eat something (not the main meal of the day), don't want to spend much and wish to sit a bit... then China Express is good for you. The quality of food is medium, rather industrial actually, but the place is cosy...and rather central. Good prices. Popular
I had the worst asian food at this restaurant. I ordered fried vegetarian noodles which seemed atleast a day old with dried pieces of veggies and egg. Also, if you want to taste the bubble tea here , then it is a big NO.

Both nights we were there they were busy with locals eating at the restaurant because of the size and quality of the meals. We would highly recommend this restaurant to all travelers!
