After the landing in a few we found this coffee shop not far from our apartment that we rented for the week. it's back in a neighbor, but was not hard to find.... read more After the landing in a few we found this coffee shop not far from our apartment that we rented for the week. it's back in a neighbor, but was not hard to find. we all had different coffees to help us wake up after a long flight and they also have delicious baked. the weather was nice, so we sat outside and saw the people coming and going.

We were walking along the Isar and a friend of ours that is very familiar with this area suggested we come here for a coffee. It 's located in an old building that also happens to sort of a museum Art of Grinding seems to be the theme here. It dates back to 1701 when it was a paper mill and then it became a flour mill in the late 1800 's. After the war it was restored back to its former glory. Fausto have a roastery here and you can buy their coffee at the cafe. The cafe itself has a decent amount of seating indoors as well as outside. They have a nice selection of cakes and coffee. Not sure there is any other food here. I chose to have a coffee and we decided to share a slice of chocolate cake. The coffee was excellent as was the cake. It was a nice dense moist and chocolatey cake. I would happily come here again. The building itself is quite interesting and well hidden from the street.
