When my wife and I arrived in Munich we had a corporate appartment at the Victualien market. The Backspielhaus is a chain of bakeries which is owned by a nice Munich lady and her husband who did an MBA at Harvard Business School. We went...there usually on Saturdays for a little breakfast. The staff was great and the cakesbread delicious View all feedback.
What Cornelius Cormier doesn't like about Backspielhaus:
The location is nice (I think it's the closest cafe to Nymphemburg castle), but the staff is quite unfriendly: they pissed me off, I don't think I'll go there again. View all feedback.
Stayed for a days trip in Munich. Really close to castle Nymphenburg minutes to walk) is the bakery cafeteria Backspielhaus'. A really small and nice bakery with a retro style! The service was really friendly and fast. The menu and different homemade...cakes are really big! All the things we ordered was delicious! Small cakes with almonds and marzipan, foccacia, latte macchiato, espresso and fresh pressed orange juice. The Espresso was not good cause it was from a full automatic machine! The foccacia was not with buffle mozzarella! Prices was a lil bit too expensive!
Right next to the tram stop for Schloss Nymphenburg, I can't think of a better place for coffee, cake and snacks when you visit the Schloss. They serve Riesenkuchen' which is as it says, riesen gigantic, so I recommend you share with someone. We...had a tasty chocolate one, and an almond cookie, lovely taste and texture. Seems to be popular amongst locals. There's a kindergarten nearby, and it was hometime when we visited and many people took their kids there for a treat, and some elderly locals too.
Fresh giant coffee,Delicious fresh bread. Croissants and variance of bread are absolutely delicious! Amazing people who served us the early sunshine breakfast. Just as amazing as the breads and the coffees. If I ever comeback to Munic I will certainly will come back here again....Thank you for the amazing experience!!! #foodlover #musttry

The last two paintings I tried to eat there, I had a terrible experience with the staff. once while they were politely trying to get a table on the phone, they interrupted me and hanged on me rudely; another time while they try to get something. to eat where they answered us hard. no cake is such a treatment worth for the client, especially if the customer is polite and friendly. I do not come back there in a definite way.
