Asado Steak - München

Just had a lovely steak dinner here. We ordered dinner for two and had a salad each, small bbq corn cob, jacket potato with dressing and bread with a share 500g ribeye steak. Very reasonable price for what we received. Ordered drinks too but there was no menu to choose these from (weren't offered it anyway). Paid the same for a pilsners as a small water. Received a large wine which was reasonable in cost. Good food but ask for the drinks menu too before ordering. Waiter was very professional and friendly and spoke English.

This is a small steak restaurant, seems more a fast food than a standard Asado, but the quality is good as well as the service. It is very close the central train station, and I can recommend it for a steak.

I was staying in a hotel nearby so I ate here one night. There was no wait at the time but I noticed that the hostess had no problems using already reserved tables to accompanying people she preferred. The restaurant itself wasn't terrible and the food wasn't bad although it was overpriced. The thing I remember most is the service however. It wasn't terrible as long as you did everything they said and didn't question anything. I was fine with this because I just wanted dinner, hamburger and the fries that came with it, and two drinks. The drinks were a little slow but I didn't complain. I watched several other nearby people complain about various items such as wait time, cold food, high prices, and then watched them get verbally reprimanded by the staff. That was a big reason I just kept my mouth shut. But it wasn't terrible. I walked in, was given a seat, read the menu (so I knew the prices before I ordered), but the food was just basic but not bad either. So I sat and ate and paid. I don't regret it. But I wouldn't go back either.
