at the end of 2015 I and my father had dinner there. the food was great and the service was very good. the foods were quite large. the restaurant was full with diners. What User doesn't like about Süden:
Been here a couple of times, big spacious rooms, loud, without any apparent theme/concept. The food is good, the rest is fine. Never had anything to complain about never had anything to especially commend in any way. Good for large groups. Nice location. View all feedback.
Food without restriction recommended and ambience fits with it operators were quick and friendly. Beverage selection excellent and inexpensive surprisingly pleasant for the bid. Every time I come back to Freiburg
Only after a 4-time call and announcement that we were allowed to go without paying we could finally pay. All this after 45 minutes and a maximum of 75% of the place occupied. Oh yes and we were a group of 10 people, of which 6 children. 2 were completely overwhelmed and correspond to... Thanks for this unforgettable evening!!!!
The South is located in the Vauban district and was there the first real restaurant (at my time there) In summer, tables are out. Access by train. There's live music and people are nice. The food is super tasty, the prices are therefore a total escape! Especially recommended in summer.
Here in Freiburg Vauban Freiburg's alternative and coveted residential district, the south is almost like the heart of Vauban. It is centrally but quiet as it is located in a traffic-smooth zone. There are plenty of sunny seating on the terrace and also on the inside the space is good. The south has a very good kitchen daily changing lunches and always a vegetarian dish. Hähnchengeschnetzelte is not available here with pommes but with chiligemüse and tabuleh. There is a wide range of bourgeois, Mediterranean, but also international dishes that are always freshly prepared. It is also worth mentioning the delicious homemade bread, which is available here and for the gourmets there is a very appealing wine card. Sunday brunch (from 11.30 am) for 11.50 euros is also highly recommended. Children up to 5 years eat free!!! The services often come to sweating especially in summer but are actually always friendly.
I like to be in the south, delicious food, sunny ambience... Yes even vegan and vegi dishes can be found here... There is a cheap but tasty lunch to choose from Vegan,Vegi,Fleisch) only unfortunately one of the cooks is always of the opinion to have to swallow everything with paprika powder, does not necessarily hurt the eye, but actually and tastefully fits the garnet : The service fluctuates easily.... Nevertheless, I like...
