This part of Mülheim-Kärlich is dominated by the big outlets, making Industristrasse looking very American. Not easy to find a good place to eat unless you just happen to find the Holzhaus Restaurant. We were in the shopping centre and had almost given up any plans for lunch when we came across this gem of a restaurant with an impressive menu, an attentive staff and when the food was served: the best food we had for days! If ever in this part of Germany again, we know where we will be heading!
Wir waren zu viert hier essen und waren angenehm überrascht. Jeder hat was anderes probiert und alles war super!!!!! Ps. Freundliche Bedienung!!!
Wir waren zu einem Spontanbesuch in der Musterhausstraße und uns plagte nach 5 besichtigten Häusern plötzlich der Hunger. Aus einem Holzstammhaus roch es sehr sehr gut nach Essen. Bei genauerem Hinsehen erkannten wir, es ist ein Restaurant. Wir gingen rein, wurden sehr sehr freundlich bedient und bekamen eine äußerst leckeren Pasta-Teller. Da wir demnächst wieder kommen müssen, um weiter mit dem Hausanbieter zu sprechen, steht unser nächster Besuch beim Italiener schon fest.
Eher zufällig sind wir im Gewerbegebiet auf das Restaurant gestoßen. Gegen 14:30 Uhr war nicht mehr viel los. Sehr aufmerksamer und schneller Service. Mein Burger und die Spareribs meiner Kollegin waren gut. Komme gerne wieder.
Stayed in Koblenz with family to celebrate a double birthday. By word of mouth we had heard about this restaurant and booked for the celebration. The restaurant is very clean, I particularly like the use of clean white gloves when bringing plates and cutlery to the table. It is built like a log chalet with outside seating, upstairs there is more seating and a balcony, ideal for large parties.We had preordered our meal of aubergine salad, mixed salad and a selection of fish and meats and were not disapointed, it was extremely tasty and were provided with two large cakes, with candles,for the birthday boys !!! (65yrs and 91yrs). Everyone had their fill and and the staff were kind enough to box up the ample leftovers for us to take home.Our 3 year old granddaughter was with us and they cooked pasta especially for her, they certainly know how to cater for young children.They were fluent in English, German and Russian so we had no problem with communication.This restaurant is a hidden gem and comparatively unknown as it has only been open for 3 months, it would also make an ideal venue for large festive parties, so book early.Many thanks to all the staff for a lovely evening.
