The most amazing pie I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten ALOT of pies seeing as I’ve worked in many bakeries. Friend also had a orgasmic experience with her gluten free pie. Would gladly drive the 45min to get another.

An absolute gem of a place right next to officeworks (logan hyperdome area directly across the road from Fitzy 's . Joy took the tenancy over from a pie shop about a year ago. Still does the pies (all home made , but now its what I 'd call a 'food tardis '. South African cuisine, all home made. From slowcooked buffalo wings and lamb shanks to 'bunnychows ' shepherds pies. All to die for and just like grandma used to make. And don 't even start me on some of the homemade sweets! (my freaking god my fav is the ginger slice. Joy doesn 't advertise (only the fb page , and the following she is gathering (and believe me its gathering from 1 staff member when she started to 8 now! is all from word of mouth. The South African expats especially are flocking here in droves from far wide. She takes phone orders and caters also. If ever you 're down this way or halfway to or from the goldcoast, you must drop in and check her little tardis, and see (and taste for yourself what all the word of mouth followers are flocking to. Even if just to grab her card and get her number. Believe me its well, well worth a look

It is a hidden treasure! I have lived in the area for 20+ years and only discovered it two weeks ago! The service was outstanding it was like meeting a long lost friend and the food 10/10! I ordered the beef Biriyani and Joy surprised me with the lamb as she was very attentive to my comments about my husband liking the Lamb when I ordered. The food was straight out of the oven, she carried it to my car for me as it was hot. Good old fashioned service! I highly recommend a visit to dine with Joy!
