Red Drum Gastropub - Mt. Pleasant

We were with Mt Pleasant a few weeks earlier to move our daughter to her new Apt after 4 years in Beaufort. We were back on Sunday for a quick visit and reviewed a list of the best restaurants in the area and decided on Red Drum. They delivered! The menu was creative (besides some of the best steak cuts like the bone in Ribeye that my son had, I decided to be excellent for the quail with venison sausage! . The waiting staff (which I could remember the name of our server was very nice, helpful and the correct amount of attention was very good. We were greeted by the manager or owner and the bartender on the way out. This is not a cheap dinner, but was very reasonable compared to some other restaurants in the same class and worth the price. The menu also had options at lower price levels. We will definitely return to future visits in the region.

Our very popular place in Charleston!!! This place is such an incredible treat every time we come. The food is incredible. The staff is so warm and welcoming. Absolutely recommend to make this a must for those who come to the city!

This is one of the best meals I had in Charleston. The Tostadas and wooden biscuits were phenomenal!! The pasta with scallops was fantastic with a small kick but quite awesome! I would highly recommend for anyone looking for great seafood!!!

I'm from Savannah Ga and have eaten tons of cookies...but these were the best cookies I've ever eaten...and oh my as delish the shrimps and grottos were The Mimosas were certainly exactly what was necessary to pair with this delicious food!!!

My favorite restaurant! The food is always consistently delicious. The wait staff and bar staff is the best in Charleston and the owners make you feel like you are family.
