Was Michael Schuett at Babi Guling Chandra a mag?
Nasi Babi Guling Komplit (50k) It is made of pork stew, pork skin, pork satay, pork sausage, vegetables, and pork crackers. The chili was quite different, they didn't use matah chili, but it was good.⠀ View all feedback.

It was my first time visit here and I ordered Babi guling special. It was a bit dry, spicy, and greasy. They also served us with a bowl of pork soup which was great. Overall, food was great. Service was rather quick and polite. Cleanliness needs to be improved though, there was some uncleaned leftovers food in the desk. For 2 babi guling special, we had to pay about 125k. It was rather expensive in my opinion.

It is another famous Suckling Pig rice at Bali. I ordered the Nasi Campur which was so yummy spicy though. And also ordered Babi Kecap that far from my expectation of general Babi Kecap. It was red colored and did not have sweet soy sauce 5 Chinese Spices taste at all as we can find at Chinese restaurant. But overall it was a good dish...

This venue has great local food experience. From day until night there are more and more people come by to dine in or to take away. As for the food, in my opinion it tastes good and its spicy level suits me. What surprise me is its portion that so much with affordable price. I think I will recommend it for the domestic people who would like to experience local balinese culinary especially pork food.

Whenever I’m travelling, I always find myself planning where to eat almost as meticulously as where to go. In a recent trip to Bali, Indonesia, I found myself facing the same predicament. When choices are overflowing and you have restaurants everywhere you turn your head, how do you decide where to eat?

The place is crowded with Balinese, so it is a good sign. Having tasted several places for Babi Guling, this is certainly up there with the best. The only thing you should be wary is that the dish could be very spicy for non-locals. If you like authentic, true taste of Babi Guling then you are in the right place.
