What User doesn't like about Powell's Roadside Market:
So overpriced! I wanted to buy so many things especially the peaches and tomatoes but couldn't justify spending nearly $60 for a basket of peaches and a basket of tomatoes. Disappointing as the stuff looked pretty good. View all feedback.
Popped in on our way back to Virginia Beach. Very good fruit selection. Staff was great. Enjoying one of their juicy plumbs right now!Definitely worth the stop.
I love all three of the big farm markets on the way to OBX, but Powell's is my favorite. They don't have a huge selection, but what they do have is choice. Fresh, local produce and lots of it the way a farm market is supposed to be.
Best cantalope I've ever had! Corn and watermelon were also fantastic. Super friendly young lady at the checkout.
Vegetables are small. The fruits are also on the small size. Their prizes went up but guantity is lesser for the price
Best cantaloupe we ever had. Plums and strawberries were average.
