What Anonym dislikes about Soledad Big Waves:
in presentation good score. The food is not a big thing, and if we talk about the waiters we are going to send some directly to the strike if I am the customers sitting down consuming to spend their bill sweeping and recommending that the one in the parking lot will leave the car as if the car did not stay there because he also had family. in a few words or in many words the owner who recited with some workers View all feedback.
We had an awesome mojito in Soledad Big Waves, sadly missed live music and some public surf video watching but then on saturday morning before we left we went again to have really good freshly made churros witch excellent thick hot chocolate! In general the ambiente is really cool here.
The spot is a great base for advanced surfers with a rental car or anybody who wants to check out the north coast of Gran Canaria. The guys have a board rental there and the boards where quite decent and for a good price. The biggest bonus is the kitchen there: serving traditional canarian food, but also great burgers. Altogether the hostal is very clean and it was never crowded. On fridays and saturdays they have live music. The owners Carlos and Fran are great guys and can help you finding surfspots. But like mentioned the north coast is definetely for advanced surfers only with a rental car (reef, rocks, sea urchins, heavy waves), the next beginner spots are las palmas or playa del hombre. The price was only 20 euro per night in a shared room
A really cool place! It is like entering the wrold of surf. They serve fresh and authentic food (home made fries and burgers are amazing). The service is friendly and laidback. It is located in a very interesting old house. I think it is definitely worth a visit!
Great place where you feel welcome, no matter if you are a tourist or a local fisherman. nice terrace and big parking. the grilled fish is definitely a recommendation Manuel
My food was not edible. My husband’s barely so. The fish tacos aren’t really tacos, it is just pieces of fried fish that had gone rank. In all fairness, the waiter did not charge us for the fish. My husband’s shrimp was the worst he has had really, ever. Saturday night and no cold beer. The waiter put it in the freezer, but still not good. Too bad this place is so terrible because it would be a cool spot if they could make it work.
