I ordered the chicken teriyaki, and it was prepared quickly and tasted fantastic. The staff member was very pleasant as well. I'm puzzled by some of the other reviews, especially the one claiming they feed cats and dogs. That seems very racist to me—simply because they’re Asian? I believe such comments should be taken down. I’m not even Asian myself, and I find this kind of hatred concerning. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about New York Teriyaki:
I had a really disappointing experience with the sweet and sour chicken. The entire dish was made with dark meat, which wasn't what I expected. The last time I ordered it, the batter was light and crispy, and the meat was white. This time, it didn't even resemble chicken. I’m not sure if it was just an off day for them, but I definitely won’t be returning. View all feedback.
This is the 2nd time eating here and it's no where near good as the ones in yakima, the California crunchy roll was soaked in cooking oil, literally drenched in a pool of oil . Not to mention they have RAID bug spray laying around the dining area??? Do not recommend last time eating at this place for sure .
Place sucks! Fish was burnt as hell, gave us one tartar sauce for two orders and refused to give us one more when asked. Yakisoba was greasy as could be and for a yakisoba order and a fried rice order they gave me one soy sauce. I don't know if they are to tight to give one sauce per order or what but they don't have to worry about us ever coming back. Oh yeah did I mention the food sucked!
This restaurant is NOTHING like the ones in Yakima. No working restrooms, food was not good, and the restaurant looks like it hasnt been cleaned since pre-pandemic. Was partially shorted on my order. Still not allowing you to eat indoors which I support, but you gotta keep your place clean. Feeling like they need a visit from the health department. Such a disappointment. Wanted to take more pics but was making myself sick with what I was seeing. Dead moths on the floor. If they cant keep the seating and eating areas clean, I hate to think what the kitchen area looks like. Would not recommend and dont plan to eat there ever again.
This location is my favorite take out spot of all The New York teriyaki locations. They make the best Japanese food! There teriyaki and Yakisoba are both amazing! The lady that works at the counter is both wonderful and easy to order and pick up with! This is a small business worth supporting!
Parents (Mom Step-dad) have the place ~ I checked it. Work done thru Covid-19Food: 5/5
