Located in downtown Mountain View, this Vietnamese restaurant offers a range of pho options, from savory to sweet. Portions are generous and prices are decent. Some diners found the pho disappointing, with declining quality, while others rave about the freshness and taste. The menu also includes delicious banh mi, vermicelli, and spring rolls. Was Anonym at To Chau a mag?
the ochsenschwanzpho is absolutely delicious. I think it's one of the best phos I've ever had. the large bowl is really big, so the price is better (and quality) than good. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about To Chau:
I enjoy my pho broth on the savoury side and that's my personal preference! If you like your pho broth on the sweeter side, come here and try this place out! Friendly service and the food comes out very fast. Also, I like how this pho place is decently priced and the portions big. We got the large Bon Bo Hue and Tai Name Sach it was good. we look forward to coming back and trying new items on the menu. Here's a coupl... View all feedback.

I am trying all the pho in the area. Well the pho ga had small slices of what looked like processed chicken lunchmeat not shredded chicken like other pho places at same price. The peanut sauce for the gai cuon was watered down and therefore not adequate. I thought the veggies would pay for extra jalpeno and sprouts and mint for the pho. My mistake, they were broccoli and bok Choy and overpriced . Honestly it is hard at any pho places around here to get extra soup fillers, you can get more noodles but never an extra jalapeño . Sheesh. Anyway , this was overpriced for the value.

The menu offers all vegetarian options as vegan, as per the waiter. This provides a good variety for customers. The vegetable pho was particularly delicious, with a mix of tofu and various vegetables. The portion size was sizable, even for the regular serving. The egg rolls were crispy, albeit slightly lacking in flavor on their own, but the accompanying sauce made up for it. Despite being busy, the service was quick.

The food was delicious and the service was great. The restaurant is located near Castro Street downtown. After reading another review, we decided to try the vegan pho and it did not disappoint!
