Three entrees, three appetizers, one dessert. Every single bite of every single item was superb. Excellent food, excellent service. Authentic but not pretentious. Please don 't tell anybody else, we keep it or little secret. I like it, I love it, I want some more of it. Vegetarian options: Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 View all feedback.
What Ethan Hewitt doesn't like about Le Petit Bistro:
1. Food: The lamb was good, but the duck liver was of low quality and lacked flavor. 2. Service: I inquired with the server about whether the duck liver originated from Eastern Europe or France; she didn't know. However, she was consistently attentive with refilling the water. 3. Unusuall charges: I was surprised to see a mandatory 22% tip added to our bill. I've never encountered such a high mandatory tip, even at Michelin-starred restaurants, and this establishment is not on par with them. The staff was efficient, but they weren't particularly friendly and seemed to lack in-depth knowledge about their menu. Unfortunately, due primarily to reason 3, we won't be returning.
If you are looking for fresh, authentic and delicious French food – this is absolutely the place you want to look at! It is so obvious that Chef Jean Michel pours his heart into his food, everything was absolutely exquisite. It uses agricultural meat and all fresh ingredients - no cans! This place has exceeded my expectations I'm so happy I found this little jewel. If you check in the area def they will not be disappointed! The restaurant has such a cozy and intimate atmosphere and Chef Jean and the team feel Make yourself at home as you enjoy a delicious dinner in a friend's house.
Check out Le Petit Bistro's Steak the week's most delicious way I know to get good protein. Your house made bread is amazing. Come with an appetite, let yourself be remembered with a wonderful experience.
Great place! Very authentic and the staff seems very to the earth. The staff is also very attentive and the service is great. I got the pig medals and my wife got the salmon. Both were excellent. Definitely recommended!
True French food I had outside France! This inconceivable little restaurant is worth establishing as a regular place for dinner
Authentic French adapted to today 's palate of less heavy sauces. Chef has a deft touch with subtle flavors, clearly attentive to details of spice combinations (but a bit heavy handed on salt in my beef dish, would take off only 1/2 star if I could . Lovely setting if a bit empty in these pandemic times... but it was a Tue night. The salad was surprisingly well finished despite looking relatively unadorned. Onion soup thick and satisfying. Duck L 'Orange had a subtle sauce (not overly sweet with zest fresh orange slices, quite a lot of duck meat a tad overdone. Filet Mignon Madagascar was PERFECT in done ness (I asked for the done side of med rare ; the sauce would be better with 20% less salt to make it more palatable let the peppery taste stand out. I appreciated the added subtle spices added to the side vegetables only. The dessert of Tart Tatin (apple tart was heavenly the apple tasted airy light. Service very attentive; the proprietress took great photos of us.
