excellent concept with gift shop and meal. Very high quality in both locations in the same building. Unique items that can be purchased in the gift shop you will not find in many other locations. Wool items are a feature. View all feedback.
What Tazio Monti doesn't like about Pasu Farm:
Service was good and staff were friendly. We went for the lunch buffet which was below average and very over priced considering the choice and quality of items. Both the roast and the lamb were tough and lacked flavour. View all feedback.

I hadn't heard of this place before, but a friend invited me to accompany her, as her dad used to own a neighbouring farm and she knew the owners. We went out for lunch and had the Mediterranean sandwiches made with homemade bread and lovely desserts: saskatoon pie and lemon mousse cheesecake. It was all delicious with excellent servers and a lovely view of the grazing llamas and sheep. Next we wandered into the adjoining gift shop which has a good variety of womens' wear and they happened to have a summer sale on, so I bought two skirts, a poncho and a bracelet for just over $100. We had a great day visiting and really enjoyed the drive out there with the lovely pastoral views. Recommended for a nice day trip outside the city of Calgary.
Visited with my husband and another couple for lunch / dinner. As I have many food sensitivities, we called ahead to make sure there was something I could eat. The young lady on the phone was very straightforward about what I could and could not expect from the kitchen. There were very few guests there when we arrived so our server was ready to address my concerns and give us tons of attention. We had sumptuous lamb ribs with salad and home baked bread. So Good! Gift shop is quaint and we met the owner's wife and had a nice chat. Out for a photo op with the donkey and done. This is a working farm so a couple flies are to be expected. The owners are a wonderful South African couple.Oh! Prepare to be seranaded by the big white parrot during dinner. Lots of cat-calling and squawking.
The friendly atomosphere and dilegance of the staff was fantastic, but cost wise this was the worst buffet I have been to. I couldn't cut my roast beef it was like rubber. The lamb was under cooked to me. I did not like how the lamb meat and roast beef were on the same cutting board with blood mixing in from both cuts. The chicken was good, but greasy. I haven't had apply pie in years. I decided to give it a shot and it was like congealed apples drowning in cinnamon. Coffee was extra, and the farm increased buffet prices after reservations were booked at one rate. I'll never come back here to eat.
I was truly expecting more. Going to a sheep farm I would have hoped for more sheep instead of trying to search for them after breakfast. The breakfast was alright but coffee is extra and you need to pay for refills, that's something I would think would be included. Ended up being $44 per person.
