Pizza Pie-o-near - Mountain Top

My husband and I ordered takeout from this restaurant at 7 PM and were informed that it would be ready by 7:30 PM, but it ended up being ready by 7:50 PM. We understand that many businesses are facing staffing shortages, so we didn't mind the wait. However, the food we received was disappointing, as shown in the attached photo. We left a 15% tip for a dried-out, burnt pizza that resembled cardboard. We used to visit this place frequently, but we won’t be coming back after this experience. The pizza was dry and burnt, almost as if it had been sitting out all day before they added sauce.

The food here is fantastic, and the ambiance is lovely. I've visited multiple times and tried various entrees, all of which have been consistently excellent.

The veal parmesan was excellent—really delicious food, great service, and an outstanding staff. I will definitely return and highly recommend this place!

This restaurant serves fantastic Stromboli, but that's really its only highlight. The prices have increased and are now significantly higher than those at other establishments, which makes it feel overpriced. At Freeland Sorrento's, you can get a Stromboli that's double the size for a lower price, and many patrons consider it to be superior. So, what is the draw of this place?

I recently grabbed lunch from this restaurant and was extremely pleased! If you're looking for affordable options, this place has plenty to choose from, with meals typically ranging from $1 to $10. I decided to try their large cheese pizza, and it exceeded my expectations. It was delicious and satisfying, making it a fantastic choice for a quick lunch. I highly recommend checking it out!
