Mom Pop's Pierogies - Mountain Top

Recently stopped in with my daughter from Pittsburgh since she has always loved Mom Pop’s Pierogies! After spending $50.00 on pierogies was so disappointed in the treatment we received from the owner. Tried to support a small and local business but will never, ever purchase Mom Pop Pierogies again after the rude treatment received again from the owner.

The food is ok. The place is stuck in a time warp of what the valley accepted as normal everyday food, back in the day.. I am half polish and half Italian. My great grand mother born 1899 she was 100 percent polish. Mom mom was great. I ate polish food and Italian food homemade until I never wanted to see polish food again. How long until the place is on the chopping block.. The new immigrants don't go to mom and pops pierogi. They go to place that are Mexican, the Latino crowd There is Latino to include Honduran's elsalvadorian.. They don't pull up to mom and pops hey how about an orange soda and 3 pierogi's to go.,

Worst pierogi in the area by far. Not sure how they've been selling these things for so long. The dough is clumpy/hard due to bad mixture? The filling is almost non-existent and bland. Mrs Ts blow these pierogis out of the water. If you're looking for a pierogi fix you'll be severely disappointed here.

The pierogi are wonderful. We have had the potato cheese, sauerkraut, and sweet cabbage. All of which had great flavor and plenty of filling. Just like the ones my mom made!

Unbelievable!!! Thank you for existing!!! They ship their pierogi too!!! We live 9hrs away on the Coast of North Carolina, so I'm extra excited about being able to have them delivered to my house!
