Barka Mediterranean Seafood Steak

Any time we are celebrating we go there. The branzino is always great. The service is impeccable. I enjoy the ambiance based on the day.

We eat at Barka quite often since it's local but the last few visits have been unpleasant. Our most recent visit was yesterday, 10/21. We sat in the bar area because we were told by the host that reservations were running behind. Bartender took care of us, she was alone from what it looked like. We put in apps and it took 40 mins to get them. The bartender planned the slow kitchen but we saw others sat after us get their apps much faster and before us. We ordered another round of drinks when we placed our order and watched the bartender continue to make drinks for new guests at the bar included a party of 6. Our dinner showed up and we still didn't have the drinks. 1 meal was good and the other was not. $45 for an entree that was overcooked fish, wayyyy under seasoned and slimy fish skin. The restaurant is beautiful and they were hosting a wedding reception and the DJ was blasting the music, many customers complained. Paying almost $170 for a dinner out is fine with us but only if it's worth it and this dining experience was not!

Fabulous place! Great food, excellent service, nice atmosphere. We've been friday night and it was full. We had paella and New York prime stek and we enjoyed every bite. Sony is the best! I recently ne dined at Barka restaurant, and I must say, everything was absolutely delicious. The food quality was top-notch, and every dish I tried was a culinary delight.
