While some had a disappointing experience with average food and service, others celebrated special occasions with a great meal and excellent service. The restaurant has been criticized for some mishaps, such as reservations not being honoured and meals arriving with missing items. However, those who enjoyed their meals praised the fresh ingredients, delicious food, and fantastic cocktails. Despite some inconsistencies, La Paz seems to have the potential to provide a pleasant dining experience for those who appreciate Mexican cuisine and friendly service.
It was my husband’s birthday so we had 2 tables totaling 16 people..friends and family. The service was very good and everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. We always enjoy LaPaz! Jorge was our waiter...always a friendly and efficient waiter.
Ordered chicken fajitas without squash or zucchini. I received the order with no red potatoes and chicken that was either reheated or deep-fried as it was hard and horrible,. It did not even look like a chicken. The rice was cold. The tacos came with chicken that was the same. All 4 dishes had cold rice. This was my first time eating in here 4-5 years and it will be my last. Very disappointed.
My first visit. Will not be going back. Average food, decor, and service. There are Mexican restaurants in my neighborhood that provide similar food quality and service. When I arrived the hostess told me that La Paz does not accept reservations. I was surprised in that the reservation was booked through Open Table.
