We like this place for its Thai Green Curry and Bami Gorang. The fish chips is OK. The service is always good and no matter when we call it only takes 10 minutes for our order to be prepared. View all feedback.
What BeeQueUU doesn't like about St Heliers Takeaway:
A combination meats fried rice (chinese) and a Pad Thai. food was ok. Wasn't overly tasty but equally it did not soaked in oil nor MSG flavour enhancer. So overall very edible for a no frills takeaway bar only styled chinese and thai outlet. Minor point was the pad thai used more traditional chinese flat rather than the thinner thai rice noodle. Portion size for both were ok for the price. Meats were plentiful and we... View all feedback.
Yummy food, ready in 10 mins, good portion, parking available, friendly staff and near to our place.
I go here for takeaways all the time, been going here for years. Great portions, great tasty food, good prices. In this area, there is no better Chinese takeaway shop.
For a takeaway, this is one of my favourites as their dishes come in great portions and taste great! The place is quite tidy and the staff are all very friendly. Food is usually made very quick unless it's busy hours, but even then the wait still isn't considered very long. Great place for great takeaway food. Recommended
Nice tasty food, had the pad thai and the thai friedrice. both dish was nice and a good portion for the . Good service and also very quick!
The food here just isn't very good quality; both the chinese and european takeaways are below par. The battered fish has an overly thick and oily batter and surrounds a very thin piece of fish meaning you feel like you're crunchy on an oily piece of fried batter eww, I've felt sick every time I've eaten their fried fish and will not be giving it another attempt. The Snapper particularly is so thin that I wonder if they have found a way to slice it through the middle, is that even possible? Unacceptable for the prices they charge, particularly the Snapper. Chinese is equally bad. Chicken fried rice had almost no ingredients, just plain rice. Sweet Sour chicken had a horrid texture, very stringy and un chicken like. Chicken chow mein was okay, but slightly below average. Won tons (lots of meat compared to average) and chips are both pretty good.
