Peter and Charlie are the passionate owners of Mavis's Kitchen and Cabins located at Mt. Warning, where they have created a unique style and warm welcoming atmosphere. Mavis, Charlie's beloved mum who inspired his love for food, is the namesake of this special place. The Kitchen, housed in a beautiful old Queenslander, seems as though it has always been a part of the lush Mt. Warning landscape. Originally from a restaurant on the Gold Coast, Peter and Charlie brought the building with them for a "tree change," carefully transporting and reassembling it to create the magical Mavis's experience. Come and feel the charm and taste the exceptional cuisine at Mavis's Kitchen and Cabins.

Great location, wonderful seasonal flavours, the protein was the hero.. such a great thing? awesome wine and beer menu. Could bring the dog, shot to my favourites list!...
Had a fab breakfast here last Saturday, been here before but brekkie was spesh. Wonderful fresh, organic produce, friendly, courteous staff (and owner and a fortuitous visit by a local avian chatterbox who talked the ears off two people having breakfast. A very special venue run by even more special people
Excellent food and service. The ambiance is wonderful while dining on the verandah of a Queenslander.
I absolutely loved it! The food was delicious, the staff were incredibly attentive, and everyone was warm and friendly. The prices were great as well!
