Pirate's Cove - Mount Vernon

I loved the original restaurant, so I was quite concerned that this visit wouldn't live up to my expectations. However, it did! The Taco Pizza was fantastic and brought back great memories. The cheese garlic bread was served hot and gooey. The deluxe side salad had just the right amount of Italian dressing, even better than the original. The freshly baked giant cookie pizza looked AMAZING and was perfect for sharing. I think it would be beneficial for the wait staff to try every dish on the menu so they can answer questions more effectively, but the staff was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Our group will definitely be back!

I ordered an 8-inch vegetarian pizza, and it was fantastic. The place was very clean, and the waitresses were incredibly nice, checking in on us multiple times to see if we needed anything. I was really impressed. My friend ordered chicken tenders and fries, but the waitress accidentally brought him homemade chips instead. She apologized, and he said it was fine, but she insisted that it wasn’t right and that his fries would be out shortly. All I can say is that the homemade chips were the best I’ve ever had, especially when dipped in BBQ sauce!
