Set in a striking Mt. Vernon building, this welcoming café is a local favorite for fresh doughnuts, frappes and real smoothies, with sandwiches, gyros and salads on offer. A visible roaster and roomy seating create a photogenic, inviting atmosphere ideal for catching up. Staff are friendly and accommodating—even at closing—but quality can be inconsistent: coffee and hot items sometimes disappoint, pastries occasionally stale, and some menu items run out. Reasonably priced treats and attentive service keep locals coming back.

I had the chef salad, it was okay mostly salad mix, I asked for an additional item not to get. Probably it will try again because my first time it tried the restaurant.

Great food. Delicious, hot and fresh. Crispy fries. Friendly staff. Fast service. Clean space. Good music : . We had the chicken pita and chicken tenders.
Stopped in for a donut and a cup of coffee while touring on the Ohio to Erie Trail. They must have been busier than expected, because many food items were unavailable.The coffee was fine but my donut was completely stale. I suspect my donut was day-old as it was the last of the type.
